Why do I always want to put an "e" at the end of "random"? (I actually just did it again)

I don't have anything real to blog about, and still need to find a way to spend my time (I'm sick again - go figure!). So I decided to make a post out of some of the odd, random pictures I have saved on my computer.

From Virgin Suicides. I recently read the book (which the critics loved. Me... not so much), and saw the movie again. Then I realized what I like about it. It's not the story. It's not the characters. It's the directing! I love Sophia Coppola's soft, intimate, yet funny and a little weird way of revealing the story, rather than telling it.

From a Sivert Høyem concert. I know, what's a picture of a Sivert concert without Sivert in it doing on my blog?? *shock, horror* Well, I think it captures the moment of expectation right before the main man enters the stage, when all you can do is ignore the smoke and the darkness and stare fixedly at the only lit spot on the stage - the one right in front of the microphone. Gives me goosebumps!

I love this dress from Etsy! I want to marry it and have its little mini-dresses! Okay, maybe not, but it's definitely one of the most beautiful dresses I've ever seen!

From Postsecret. I saved it because I kind of feel the same way. Which is why I'd never even try to get a book published without a pseudonym!


*sigh* I had tons more but I'm too tired now. I need to sleep again. Stupid fever!
