Last Saturday I just woke up with a desire to walk. Just... walk! So I took my sister's Big Dog up in the woods. And so the week went! We've gone for looooong walks in the hills almost every day for a week now - steep uphills in all kinds of weather (meaning mostly rain). And my dreams of walking the Camino de Santiago are more present than ever! Not only that, but I've finally come to terms with the fact that I don't really know anyone else who would want to take 4-6 weeks off to walk 780 kilometers through Spain, and actually would no longer mind doing it on my own... And I have the money and everything!

Dear Annie,
Do it. Accept your emotions as they are and go on pilgrimage anyway. You won't be alone, and you will make more friends on the Camino than you will ever again make in your entire live. Best wishes. Fred
I think it's a great idea! When it's something that you've wanted to do for so long i think you'll have a great time "even" if you go alone. You'll meet lots of people and see what you've wanted to see, and find the independence you've been thinking you lose in our town;o)
I would have loved to go with you, but I think this sort of thing is best experienced on ones own. Go for it! :)
Noooo! Come with me, Rhiannon!!! :))
I just might you know. ;)
Nothing would make me happier, I swear! :))
