I'm in shock that they voted Hunter off the island! And people can say what they want about Boston Rob, but I sure love his accent ("This is Suh-vah-vuh!"). I mean, not that I'm watching old seasons of Survivor or anything. Not at all. Just a little bit.
I had such a good time with my colleagues yesterday, at the docks, at the theatre and at this fancy-schmancy restaurant that I've been wanting to see since reading about my main man (from the Nesbø books) being kicked outta there for being drunk. I even had a nice conversation with a woman I hardly ever talked to before, despite working with her for a year and a half now.
Also I'm really excited that the detox is helping my digestion system work like that of a normal person! Mine's always been ridiculously slow, which means I've had to eat sooooo slowly or else I'd get a stomach ache. And it makes me less bloated as well now. Yay for being halfway through detox! Hopefully my skin will clear up again soon...

In need of a life
After we went swimming yesterday Helen talked me into going to a tanning salon... I normally avoid these cancer boxes, but we were soooo cold after taking a shower. The showers at the swimming pool suck! So I tagged along, and now I'm - of course - sunburned in places I don't normally get sun! Like my BACK! Which is kind of painful... And my stomach, where my skin itches like mad. But now that some of the red is fading I can see I actually got a wee bit of colour. So my skin isn't as hopeless as I've been thinking.
John is still his cute, Swedish, hopelessly-not-single self, greeting me with a smile, an upwards-nod and a "Tjenare!" And the cutest dad since the Portugese guy helped Gretta and me get her car started after work today. Her battery was flat (she'd left the lights on), and he looked all handymanly and handsome plugging the ... stuff ... to the ... batteries, I assume. I didn't pay much attention to what he did.
Gah, it's spring!
Fantasy of the day: Sivert decides to get a normal job while taking a break from touring, and comes to work in the kindergarten for a short while. He ends up inviting me to go with them on the bus for a 3-month tour in the US. You see, because he's touring Europe right now it wouldn't be very plausible that he's going back there anytime too soon. Did you see that? That wouldn't be plausible! Ahh, I crack myself up sometimes... not!
Detox: Ohh, to hell with it. Gimme my peanut M&Ms - of which I got almost an entire kilo for my birthday! Huzzah for friends who accomodate one's needs! :D

Oh my
BioDrain, Day number... uh, I've lost count.
I've been really good today! I have! I even had a Nutrilett bar and some fruit after work, because I don't bother going home before swimming later.
Now to some obligatory Sivert stuff (ye be warned): I "complained" to June, a colleague, who also has a crush on Sivert Høyem that I didn't get him for my birthday this year either. She said I could borrow him from her when she goes on holiday on Friday. I thanked her and said there was just this small matter of returning him, though... The conversation started on facebook, and continued at work, when she suddenly shouted across the playground "You better return him in the same shape and condition that you got him!" I immediately knew what she was talking about and shouted back: "I can't promise anything!" She laughed, opened her mouth and then closed it again with a shocked look on her face. By then I was close enough to hear her when she laughed "I can't say THAT in front of the kids..." Oh, she's 48 years old, by the way, and one of the coolest people I've ever met. Lately she's come to the habit of squeezing my shoulder when she greets me in the morning, and it kind of makes me feel like we're family or something. Or at least that we're good friends. I'm going to miss her so much that I kind of don't want to quit.
Gah, off to go swimming soon. I don't really feel like it, but it's been a while since last time because I've been sick. And the detox works better with a little exercise. And June and Helen are coming with, and we always end up having a blast! Even though I feel a little stupid for not being able to swim 1000 m, like they do. But I'm just not that comfortable in the water yet. I need to take lots and lots of breaks, because I'm so scared of hyperventilating. I always ended up doing that when I was little, and since then I've never been in a pool until now. Which by the way makes me really proud of myself!
Ooooh, how cool! I just read something Sivert wrote on facebook, and someone commented on a typo, and then Sivert corrected it and commented on the comment. It's so sweet, every time I see someone has written a question on his page, like "What time do you get on stage tonight", he answers them!
Okay, I'm done now ;)

Hands up - I love you!
Lol! "We had to get up at -500.000 o’clock to catch an insanely early flight out of Oslo this morning." - from Sivert Høyem's tour blog. Oh and "Getting out of bed at this insane hour better be worth it …" Hmm, sounds kinda like me. I'm reading the blog from beginning to end right now. I know I said I'd decided to think this was healthy, but... wow... this is just getting sad.
By the way, I had the weirdest conversation with my sister today:
Sis (carrying a package that just arrived in the mail): "It's for you."
Me: "What? I didn't order anything..."
Sis: "It's from Abilene."
Me (looking at the package, reading Abilene's name and trying to think if there's some occasion or other, but can't think of any): "Aww, that's so sweet! But... but... why?"
Sis: "Uhh... maybe because it's your birthday tomorrow...?"
Me (after a loooong break): "It.... is...?"
Lol, I can't believe I forgot my own birthday like that! Thanks so much again for the chocolate, sweetie! :)
Which brings me to:
Breakfast (11.00): Two slices of bread with ham and cheese. No butter! But a piece of chocolate from Abilene after. But it's Saturday, so it's okay. *cough* And I drank about a liter of water before noon, so it's reeeaaally okay.
Lunch (16.00): Two slices of bread. With mayo instead of butter... Not healthier, but not double-unhealthy either... I know, weird time for lunch, but on Saturdays we have dinner really, really late.
Snack (ehh, all the time): Peanut M&Ms and chocolate from Abilene (yammie!!!)
Dinner/ supper (20.00): Lasagne! Yes, my MOM made lasagne! :)
Not too bad today, actually... I eat a lot less on days off.

TGI Friday
I just spent the best part of an hour browsing through Sivert Høyem's photos on facebook. Yeah, we're friends. On facebook. Me and Sivert. Sounds good, doesn't it? Me and Siv... Uh, anyways.
